I think this is a great set of equipment at a great value. I would recommend them.I really like this set of snorkel gear. I have worn other gear from during snorkel tours and this Promate set is great. The mask fit snugly and was watertight. It has a little purge valve built in near the nose to let out air/water automatically. The mask has great visibility and was comfortable enough to the point I even forgot I was wearing it. The snorkel tube works well enough. It is comfortable and offers a quick-release button to remove it from the mask with ease. The integrated whistle is nice in emergencies or getting your friends' attention at a distance in the surf. The 'dry-snorkel' valve in the snorkel tube does not work that well. It stops little waves from slashing into your mouth but submerging and diving down in the water will let water fill your snorkel tube. This is easy to remove since the breathing tube also has a purge valve to let water out easy. I have used other "dry snorkels" before with better functionality. At the end of the day, this is a minor point. The flippers are great and easily adjustable. They fit snugly as well and are easy to tighten in the water when necessary. The flippers even fit in my carry-on luggage on my flight down to Cancun. They are large enough to propel me through the water with ease but not incredibly bulky as well.***be aware*** Lots of people complain in these types of reviews that snorkel masks leak, or don't work, or that the flippers gave them blisters, etc. Snorkel gear is very specific to each person. The mask that fits my face well may not fit well for someone else, same with flippers. It is great to try mask on before purchasing it to ensure a true fit.
